Calf Reduction*
All women dream of having beautiful elongated, toned legs, but often we have wide calves which we find really difficult to change through exercise or diet. This can be achieved with BTX similar to jaw reduction by relaxing calf muscles thus, reducing calf width. A slimmer, more contoured calf can be achieved within 4 weeks. Approx Units Required: 100U per calf.
Hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) and body odor treatments*
BTX injections can also be used to inhibit the production of sweat at the underarms or palms of our hands. People suffering from sweaty palms or body odor from underarms can be treated with BTX effectively. What BTX is able to do is reduce the capacity of your palms to sweat. HOW?
BTX relaxes the facial muscles that lie beneath these areas, causing the lines to gradually smooth out while simultaneously preventing new lines from forming.
RESULTS
After an injection, it takes approximately 3 to 7 days for Btx to take effect. The full results last between 3 to 6 months before lines slowly begin to return. It usually takes longer for the results of jaw remodeling to take effect, however, these results last an average of 6 months. After repeated Btx treatments, the treated muscles tend to atrophy so the effects tend to last longer.
PAIN?
